Traditional Gasthaus with a fascinating mix from historical basic fabrics and modern architecture. Rural cosy rooms and conference rooms with modern technology. Friendly Beer garden. In the pictorial Kraichgau with it slight hills between Heidelberg and Heilbronn, there is the small village Zuzenhausen. Here everything is about the "Dachsenfranz", a fascinating and historical figure which used to live end of the 18th century in the forests of Kraichgau and Odenwald. Within quaint inn as well as the brewery, one, as visitor, is reminded in many ways about the Dachsenfranz and its effects. Even you can feel empathy in many ways about the live of the Dachsenfranz.

Dachsenfranz beer specialities from the barrel and the clip closing mechanism have cultural importance. Enjoy not only the legend of the Dachsenfranz, and the beer specialities named after him. Especially recommended are the home-brewed Dachsenfranz distillates.
