Built in 1765, the Altes Brauhaus zu Fallersleben offers a 250-year-old tradition of brewing in the middle of the historical old town. From our lovingly refurbished brewing facility we serve a regularly rotating range of beers and a rich variety of wonderful German dishes. Here you will find up to 15 seasonally adapted beer styles that are all still brewed and bottled by hand. The range, taste, and quality of our beers and cuisine have kept guests both old and new returning again and again.

Our diverse range of dishes provide something for everyone. Classical dishes range from light salads to the Brewery Plate (an assortment of meats, sauerkraut and roast potatoes) and are guaranteed to impress. Upon request we can customize any dish to your liking. After all, you are our guests, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. A highlight is our in-house Matjes Plate (young pickled herring) popular with young and old in our pub and at countless festivals.

Our diverse beer selection ensures that there’s a beer for everyone. Our brewer, Dominik Gehrmann, uses his expertise to train young aspiring brewers and to create new exciting beer creations!
