For us having a brewery hotel is not simply just in having the name, but rather it’s all about the entire philosophy of the Winkler family, who understand perfectly just how to blend local practices and contemporary needs together in perfect, harmonic unison. Yearly events: The 1st Wednesday in February is the Rossmarkt (horse market), around the 19th of March is the Josefi – Bock beer tapping, Pentecost carnival, Brewery Festival, May Bock tapping in the Winkler garden, Mediterranean weeks, “Wild Autumn” & fish weeks.

Sundays only open until 3 PM

Whether fresh fish, venison or vegetables – the regional, in-season foods determine the brewery hotel’s menu and combine the hearty Bavarian cuisine with nutritionally conscious recipes. Our efforts were rewarded with a silver medal at the Bavarian Cuisine competition and also with multiple awards in the contest for the most environmentally friendly hotel and restaurant business. In addition, since July 2012, the brewery hotel Winkler has been a member of Slow Food Germany, which has made it its mission to keep the regional food and drinks culture in their regions of Germany alive.
