A warm welcome
to Brauerei-Gasthof Winkler!
For us having a brewery hotel is not simply just in having the name, but rather it’s all about the entire philosophy of the Plank-Winkler family, who understand perfectly just how to blend local practices and contemporary needs together in perfect, harmonic unison. Yearly events: The 1st Wednesday in February is the Rossmarkt (horse market), around the 19th of March is the Josefi – Bock beer tapping, Pentecost carnival, Mediterranean weeks, “Wild Autumn” & fish weeks.

Deliberately Hearty
Whether fresh fish, venison or vegetables – the regional, in-season foods determine the brewery hotel’s menu and combine the hearty Bavarian cuisine with nutritionally conscious recipes. Our efforts were rewarded with a silver medal at the Bavarian Cuisine competition and also with multiple awards in the contest for the most environmentally friendly hotel and restaurant business.
In addition, since July 2012, the brewery hotel Winkler has been a member of Slow Food Germany, which has made it its mission to keep the regional food and drinks culture in their regions of Germany alive.
Enjoy our beery cuisine in one of our inviting guest rooms or in one of our beautifully framed beer gardens.
If you would like to know more about how so much flavour goes into our beer, we recommend taking one of our brewery tours, which are as informative as they are entertaining.
Families will feel particularly at home with us. Dogs are welcome. Those arriving by camper van will find a parking space in the immediate vicinity.
