A warm welcome
to Camba Bavaria
Welcome to the “Camba Bavaria”: brewery, brewery shop, bakery, beer garden, taproom and home of Camba beer specialties in the heart of Chiemgau. From freshly tapped beer to handmade bread and pastries: In the “Camba” we live beer enjoyment, culinary delights and a cozy togetherness in the middle of our brewery. Our passion for enjoyment is already hidden in the name: “Camba” used to be the name given to the room in monasteries where baking and brewing took place.
Originally, “Camba Bavaria” was founded in 2008 as a showroom of the brewing equipment manufacturer BrauKon in Truchtlaching. In the old mill on the banks of the Alz River, founder Markus Lohner wanted to show customers from all over the world how his brewing systems worked and what variety of beer could be brewed with them. With success: The test beers tasted good and “Camba Bavaria” developed into a pioneer of the craft beer industry.
Because it soon became too crowded in the small pub brewery in Truchtlaching, “Camba Bavaria” got a new home in the neighboring town of Seeon in 2016. Not only are the Camba beers brewed here, but the BrauKon brewery equipment is also manufactured here. A state-of-the-art brewery has been created here, where brewing is done with great love for the craft brewery. A total of already over 250 different beers, permanently in the assortment you can find 12 international varieties and 6 traditional beers, as well as some limited and seasonal beer specialties.

Genuine baker craft
Handmade bread and pastries are available in our open bakery right next to the bar. We bake with 100 percent natural raw materials and rely on traditional, genuine bakery craftsmanship. As Camba house bread we offer our “Brauerkruste”, which is refined with our beer “Chiemsee-Dark”.
We attach great importance to long doughs. A long dough means that the dough gets enough time to rise and thus the taste can develop perfectly. Our bread and pastries are hand-shaped and baked according to traditional recipes. Since we are constantly working on new creations, our assortment may vary slightly from day to day.
Our bakery is built in an open way. Visitors are welcome to look over the shoulder of our master baker as he bakes and learn more about our baking techniques and breads.
To accompany the bread and pastries we serve our Camba beers or coffee, cappuccino and espresso.
E-bikes: Battery charging options in the parking lot
Our classic dish
The brewers crust
The house bread of Camba Bavaria: The brewer’s crust, a natural sourdough led spelt bread, refined with Camba Dark Side.
