It is located directly on the Upper Swabian Baroque Route and is a very attractive destination for any true lover of beer paraphernalia and steins: the Schussenrieder Adventure Brewery also includes Germany’s first beer stein museum! Since 1994, our beer museum’s motto of ‘drinking culture over five centuries’ has invited you to experience a journey throughout the history of beer- all by taking a look around our 1200 beer steins which date from the years 1550 to 1925.
In the brewery courtyard, there are other attractions at which one can marvel. For example, the Zunftbaum, a tall mast decorated with the town’s guild shields, is also there. Ours has the shields of many historic taverns on it. The Josef chapel as well as the third-largest mountain crystal in the world are also located in the brewery courtyard.
