The first mention of the inn dates back to 1778. Since 1894, the Sperber family in Sulzbach has upheld its traditions of hospitality and brewing delicious beer. Newly restored and now a historic landmark, the inn’s venerable walls stand proud in the middle of the beautiful 1200-year-old town center.
Warm dishes are served from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:30 PM until 9:30 PM.
Closed: Only on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day
This cuisine pampers the palate with Upper-Palatine freshness as well as its seasonal variations. Our diverse beer cuisine combines the best from the kitchen and beer cellar, and our delicious, artisanal beers ensure more than just a typical mainstream drinking experience. You can also experience the art of craft beer brewing first-hand by taking our brewery tour, complete with beer tasting.
Specialties: Twelve specialty beers, among them the Zoigl-beer and our delightful light and dark beers. We also have special offers for cyclists and bikers.
