In keeping with the cold season, on Fridays in February, we serve a specialty for which Franconia is known everywhere:
the spicy, crunchy and deliciously prepared according to the old original recipe in the oven, refined with the finesse
of a real grosch beer sauce.
Every Friday at noon from 11.30 am to 2 pm and in the evening from 5.30 pm, there is the crispy Schäufele with sauerkraut
and homemade dumplings. They have a history as long as the crispy pork shoulder in Nuremberg's country of origin.
And are - by the way - for a good reason better than most served there "Knüädlen": in grosch-dumplings are only high-quality
potatoes, water and salt. The delicious dish is complete with homemade sauerkraut, refined with fried bacon.
Anyone who has now appetite is missing only the right drink fortunately.
Please, nothing tastes better than a full-bodied Zwickl. The yeast cloudy beer is characterized by its fine dry hop flavor.
The best comes as always at the end: The Schäufele with sauerkraut and homemade dumplings in February every Friday,
including a 0.3 liter pitcher Zwickl from our brewery for a bargain price.
